Monkley Cascade was formed in the spring of 2011 by a group of Hamilton musicians interested in playing Motown music, being a live dance party and learning about local waterfalls. The group plays Motown, funk, classic rock, blues, pop and basically all songs with 3-part vocals, dance breaks, 9th chords and tenor sax solos. They want you to know you don't need a DJ to have a great night dancing to great music. To get to the Monkley Cascade, follow the trail on the south-east corner of the Billy Monkley bird sanctuary parking lot. Just before the trail turns downhill, there is a narrow path to the creek. You can hear the waterfall from the main trail.
