BILLY MOON

Growing up outside of small town Elora, Ontario, Billy Moon’s sound was developed out of a kind of loneliness that we only know through experience. After moving to Hamilton, Ontario and making a couple of bedroom-rock EP’s, the sound eventually manifested into angst-driven garage rock. Recorded at Threshold Studios in downtown Hamilton, his latest EP Young Adult, was released in April 2014.With songs about porn, chaos, and the imagination of childhood, Young Adult is a collection of garage rock songs that are both dumb and witty; fuzzy pop songs that walk the line between optimism and pessimism. Stuff that knows we’re all going to die but asks why that even matters in the first place?

HIROSHIMA HEARTS
Formed in 2012, Hiroshima Hearts has established itself as a unique and popular part of London’s thriving indie music scene. The band’s original music is a thumping mix of its members’ influences – everything from punk and metal to alternative rock, jazz, and country. The end product is a big sound built on catchy melodies, vocal harmonies, and huge guitar riffs, with a heavy blues edge.
