The much anticipated Hero Coffee Bike, (we’ve coined it the “Espress-Cycle”) is finally road ready and making a debut at the Ottawa Street Market tomorrow! You can get a fresh espresso, latte or cappuccino just like it’s made at Homegrown from our biking barista Jo between 9am and 1pm!

Holy smokes, batman! Where did the week go?? It’s OPEN JAM time again tonight!! Sign up is at the “same bat time” of 7:30pm with host and drummer extraordinaire Dave Gould. If you’ve got a hunger on, you can fuel up on the Starvin’ Artist rice and beans special, and well have a rad selection of drink specials for all you talented folks!
The hard work of our local farmers is paying off in the Homegrown kitchen today! We’ve got a load of fresh seasonal asparagus, spinach and herbs like freshly picked coriander and baby basil. It all adds up to some mouthwatering soups like our Tuscan White Bean and Spinach soup and Vegan Cream of Asaparagus soup! Another thing worth trying? Our fresh Spinach Salad topped with any of our homemade dressings. Everything tastes better when it’s fresh and in-season!
The Twisted veggie or grass fed beef Burger comes topped with Homeslaw and onion jam, served with a side of these very addictive Kettle Chips!

TONIGHT! Come check out the Temper Temper Art Exhibit on your Art Crawl adventures! Lauren Olson’s monsters and creatures are eery, cheery and a pretty wild trip. Plus, there’s live music all night - the rainbow-freaking-connection of rock with Revery Eyes, Father Figure, The Human Race and Pete Van Dyk & The Second Hand Band!!
We’re having the most splendid evening at this all ages Autism Centre Benefit fundraiser and concert! We snapped a bunch of photographs of the action, and we’ll keep updating as the event carries on! So far, we’ve been treated to performances by the Celebration Army, and Till The Morning Comes, Glenn MacDonald and Matthew Dezoete!
